Growing up in the small town of Bird City, Kansas, my journey may have started with humble beginnings, but it’s been nothing short of extraordinary. I’m Lacey Grogan, the heart and soul behind Night & Gale Spa, and this is our story.
After high school, like many, I wandered in search of my calling. This path led me to a rewarding 17-year career as a Registered Nurse, specializing in ER/Trauma, Perioperative Services, and Flight Nursing. The fast-paced, challenging environments of major city healthcare centers were exhilarating, but moving back to Northwest Kansas in 2017 opened my eyes to the stark contrasts in healthcare services in rural communities.
My passion for elevating healthcare standards, unfortunately, met resistance in these settings. The onset of COVID-19 was a turning point, steering me away from traditional nursing and towards a field where I could merge my medical expertise with a personal passion – esthetics.
Under the mentorship of Cindy Tusa at The White Magnolia Advanced Skin Care Institute, I dove deep into the world of skin care. Over 700 hours of focused learning, touching, and experiencing the skin’s incredible abilities have shaped me into not just an esthetician but a medical esthetics nurse with a wealth of knowledge.
Opening Night & Gale Spa has been a dream come true. In just nine months, the overwhelming support and love from our community have been nothing short of phenomenal. We’ve grown rapidly, now hiring nurses, estheticians, cosmetologists, and expanding with new locations.
A pivotal addition to our team has been our medical director, who joined us five months ago. Her expertise has allowed us to offer comprehensive wellness services, including IV fluid bags, intramuscular injections, and advanced skincare treatments. Her role in our team has been instrumental in elevating what we do at Night & Gale Spa.
Looking ahead, the future of Night & Gale Spa is bright and full of potential. While I may not have a crystal ball to show exactly what’s in store, our commitment to caring for you, expanding our reach, and building our team remains steadfast.
